A. Details of fabric length is mentioned in the description of each product.

Q. What are the details of the material used in kurtis/dress material/sarees/lehengas?

A. Details of fabric quality is mentioned in the description of each product. Our Ruhani collection is made of all premium quality fabrics. Pure georgette products are mentioned specifically where 60 gm pure georgette is used. Lucknowi Andaaz does not use Faux georgette but has replaced Faux with a better quality georgette. However, please note that all georgette items require lining/inner while wearing due to its sheer nature. The most intricate chikan embroidery is done on the lightest of material.

Q. What are the different stitches used in chikankari and does the level of intricacy of embroidery decide the cost of a particular factor?

A. Of course, the major deciding factor of a hand-embroidered chikankari product is the level of intricacy of the hand embroidery done on it. Base material has a lesser role in the costing of a chikankari product (here we are not including the very expensive pure georgette/crepe). The most common stitches used in our products are shadow (bakhiya), keel kangan, murri, fanda, jaali, ghaas patti, mukaish, badla, aari/zari, gota patti, parsi gara and much much more.
